The Testing Center
serves the students, faculty, and community by assessing the knowledge
and skills of students. It provides a secure testing environment and is
flexible to provide and accommodate the different assessment needs of
our changing population.

Picture identification and signing in is required of anyone taking a test.
The following testing
activities take place in the Testing Center (Room C-208):
- THEA
Testing (TASP is now called THEA)
THEA, Quick THEA,
COMPASS and ASSET (THEA Alternatives)
- Special
Needs Testing
Tests are modified and adapted for students with disabilities. Disability
support resources are available with prior scheduling. Interpreters,
readers, and scribes are also available for students with qualifying
disabilities.

Alternate Classroom Testing
An alternative classroom for faculty, distance learning, and makeup
testing. A referral form is needed.

Language Placement Testing
Fcape (French) and Scape (Spanish) are referred by faculty and staff
for language placement.

Academic Testing
The
Testing Center provides the opportunity for students to take academic
exams. These arrangements are made with the instructor.
