TPEG (state grants)
TPEG funds provide limited funding for specific continuing education programs.

Career Assistance Center
The Career Assistance Center is managed by NHMCCD and it's students are funded by WIA (Workforce Investment Act) grants. The programs are designed to provide qualified NHMCCD students with financial aid for tuition, books, fees and supplies. Eligibility criteria are established by the federal government and the Local Workforce Board. Eligibility is handled at the local one-stop centers, The WorkSource-Gulf Coast Careers.

Applicants must provide verification of residence, social security number, selective service registration (males 18 or over), citizenship and confirmation of their family's income during the previous six months. Applicants must meet established income guidelines. Contact the Career Assistance Center at 281-765-7971 for additional information.

PATHWAYS Grant
PATHWAYS is a project designed to assist Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) recipients who are victims of domestic violence achieve self-sufficiency. This project allows participants to progress from entry level jobs to a chosen career path by providing a variety of education and training options.
