Mission Statement:
ALL@MC provides environments in which active older adults enjoy opportunities for continued intellectual and personal growth.

What is ALL@MC?
ALL@MC is a program that provides courses, lectures and more informal activities for active, older adults. There are no educational pre-requirements! The curriculum ranges from literature to bridge, computers to bird watching, depending on the interest of the membership.

Where/When does ALL@MC activity take place?
Classes and activities are held, primarily, at Montgomery College (3200 College Park Drive, Conroe, TX). Other locations are sometimes utilized, depending on the nature of the activity. ALL@MC semesters run in the Fall (September-December) and Spring (January-May). Summer classes are offered in June and July. Most classes are held during the daytime.

What is the cost?
ALL@MC is a membership-based organization, costing only $35 per calendar year (September-August) to join. Members receive significant discounts on courses–and some are free to ALL@MC members.

Why ALL@MC?
In its first year of operation, ALL@MC logged more than 400 members–and it’s still growing. ALL@MC is an outgrowth of the Institute for Learning in Retirement (ILR) affiliated with the Elderhostel Institute Network. Some 300 ILRs are active with colleges and universities throughout the U.S. This is the first one in the Houston region.

What are the benefits of membership?
Other than the discount on certain courses, you can have an active role in the direction of ALL@MC, including the types of courses offered, activities, and function of the group. Possibilities include field trips, theatre outings, music, languages, current events and access to many Montgomery College services.
